This is an engine from a B-29 (don't know which one). The plane that it was in was obviously in a wreck because this engine and others were in real bad shape. This engine is at a private WWII museum in Nasu. The owner was a big time WWII collector of anything and everything. Maybe the largest collection of artifacts that any WWII museum has from different countries. Grenades, small guns, uniforms, helmets, big guns, shoes, flags, more guns, medals, water bottles, plane cockpits, tires, more guns, a tank, front portion of a ship and so on.
